The Cap Canaille mountain range of the town of Cassis has been a listed site since 1986. The Route des Crêtes boasts spectacular views of the Gulf of Cassis, the Calanques, the Riou archipelago in the harbour of Marseille, right up to Var in the east. Car parking areas mean that you can park easily and admire the panorama from the "highest sea cliff in Europe!"
